Lost or stolen passports
Italian citizens already registered with the AIRE at this Consular Chancellery whose passport has been stolen or lost must send an email to pass.washington@esteri.it, attaching the following documents:
- Copy of the loss or theft report filed with the local police;
- Valid photo ID.
To request a new passport, please refer to the instructions for the issuance of ordinary passports for adults or passports for minors, under 18 years of age.
