Consular fees for all services offered, including that for Italian citizenship “iure sanguinis”, are available on the main page entitled “Consular Services and Visas.”
Between July 1 and September 30, 2026, the Consular fee due for the declaration of reacquisition of Italian citizenship pursuant to Article 17, paragraph 1, of Law 91/1992 will be:

Payment of the consular fee must be made exclusively by completing a money order or cashier’s check, made payable to: Embassy of Italy-Washington, D.C.
