The documentation must be sent to the Citizenship Office in digital format by email to washington.cittadinanza@esteri.it
We recommend:
- consolidating all documentation into a single PDF file, where possible;
- using legible and complete scans (not photographs);
- maintaining an adequate but normal resolution, with file size preferably not exceeding 5 MB.
This step allows the Office to conduct a preliminary check of the documentation submitted and notify you in the event that any additions are needed before your appointment.
Only if the documentation is correct and complete will the Office contact you to schedule an appointment to submit the reacquisition declaration in person.
The declaration must be submitted in person by the interested party at the Consular Office.
