All documents must be original, legalized or apostilled, and translated into Italian.
Mandatory Documents
- Complete birth certificate with all personal details (including parents) and annotations, where applicable
- Criminal background check’s records:
- from the country of origin
- from the countries of residence (from age 14)
- from the countries of citizenship
- A valid government issued identity document (such as a passport, for example)
- Certification of proficiency in the Italian language (at a minimum at level B1)
- Receipt of payment of €250 to the Italian Ministry of the Interior
- Marriage certificate issued by the Italian municipality
- Any documentation proving changes in personal identitfication information or other discrepancies
(e.g., changes in name, surname, order of names, changes in personal details, etc.)
