Translation and legalization of documents

Our Consular Chancellery does not provide translation services. It is generally the responsibility of the public to independently translate documents.

However, the Consular Chancellery does certify the conformity to the originals of translations of civil status (vital) records and various other documents.

For a non-exclusive list of translators and interpreters you may choose to contact in the Washington area, click here.
