Services for the Italian citizen

Consular services are provided according to principles of equality, impartiality, efficiency, and transparency.

Embassies and Consulates ensure protection for all Italian citizens in cases of violations of their fundamental rights and limitations or deprivations of their personal freedom. They also provide assistance in cases of emergencies, searches for relatives, inheritance procedures abroad, and the repatriation of remains.
