- Alternatively, for the partial contribution to scholarships for study trips to Italy, intended for students who have successfully attended Italian language and culture courses.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS
Schools interested in submitting a request must apply through the Embassy by emailing scuola.washington@esteri.it no later than March 20, 2025
INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLYING FOR A GRANT
Grant applications must include the following documentation:
- LETTER FROM THE REQUESTING EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION written in the Italian language, containing the identifying details of the school (name, address, contact information) and a detailed justification for the request, signed by the responsible authority;
- ANNEX A for grant requests for Italian-language chairs and ANNEX B for requests for scholarships/study trips to Italy. The signature of the legal representative of the school must be legible and uploaded in jpeg format.
- ANNEX A2 and ANNEX B2 for the reporting of grants received for the calendar year 2024. All educational institutions that have previously received grants and have not yet submitted reports must send, no later than the indicated date, the final report and the accounting form for the use of the last received grant, using the new editable forms “ANNEX A2” and “ANNEX B2”.
We remind you that the submission of the accounting documents, in addition to being a condition for the granting of the requested funds, is a mandatory requirement for all foreign institutions that have received contributions within the previous five years. This applies regardless of whether a new request is submitted or not.
The forms have been created in an editable PDF format to facilitate data entry and allow the legal representative of the applying school to upload his or her signature (in jpeg format). To ensure full functionality of the editable PDF format, it will be necessary to open the attachments using Adobe, Internet Explorer, or Edge.
Only grant applications with forms completed in editable PDF format will be accepted by this office.
