Lamborghini’s 60th Anniversary Celebrated in Washington

La Lamborghini Revuelto

The Ambassador of Italy to the United States, Mariangela Zappia, hosted an event last night at Villa Firenze to celebrate Lamborghini’s 60th anniversary.

“Lamborghini is a global icon and embodies the best of Italy’s industrial tradition, ever focused on innovation with the ambition to shape the future through advanced technologies and sustainable solutions,” noted the Ambassador, highlighting how every Lamborghini automobile on the road in the United States serves as a bridge between our two countries.

During the event, in the presence of Lamborghini America’s CEO, Andrea Baldi, and Lamborghini Washington’s General Manager, Amir Hadzimehmedovic, the Lamborghini Revuelto was presented to a select audience. It is the first hybrid HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) model from the Sant’Agata Bolognese-based company, demonstrating Italian engineering leadership in the green transition, even in the luxury sports car sector.

The United States represents Lamborghini’s largest global market, with over 2,700 cars delivered in 2022 (a 10% increase compared to 2021) and a growing trend for the first half of 2023, with 1,625 cars delivered to the country (a 7% increase compared to the first half of 2022).
