Fourth Week of Italian Cuisine in the world. University students contest. (Washington, November 18, 2019).

During the Fourth Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, the Italian Embassy in DC, in cooperation with the Italian Institute of Culture, organized a seminar on Why made in Italy matters: Understanding the Economic, Health and Cultural Risks of Counterfeit Italian Food with acclaimed chef and author, Amy Riolo. In the course of the seminar, Sean Lee a student from Georgetown University in Washington was awarded a prize for his essay describing with passion, creativity and in a very original way, what he believes authentic Italian cuisine to be. As a prize, Sean received a prestigious invitation to a dinner featuring a starred chef from Italy at Villa Firenze, the residence of the Italian Ambassador to the US.
