Italian Ambassador Zappia keynote speaker at the Atlantic Council on “The US-Italian defense relationship: A strategic and industrial partnership” (October 7, 11:15am ET)

On October 7 at 11:15am ET (5:15pm CET), the Ambassador of Italy to the United States, Mariangela Zappia, will deliver keynote remarks at the event “The US-Italian defense relationship: A strategic and industrial partnership,” organized by the Atlantic Council’s Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security.

This event marks the release of a new Atlantic Council issue brief, “Una Squadra Vincente: The US-Italian Defense-Industrial Partnership.”

Ambassador Zappia’s keynote will be preceded by welcoming remarks by Atlantic Council Board Director and Former NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe GEN Curtis Scaparrotti, USA (Ret.) and introductory remarks by Leonardo SpA Chief Executive Officer Alessandro Profumo. A panel discussion will follow.
