Italian language and AP Italian workshop for teachers off all grades and order at the Embassy of Italy in Washington DC (March 21, 2020)

The promotion of the Italian language in the US and the training of Italian teachers at all levels is one of the Embassy of Italy’s main priorities.

On March 21, 2020 (8.30am to 4.30pm ET), the Embassy in Washington DC hosts a 0ne-day training workshop: “We learn, examine and integrate the strategies of the AP Italian course in our curriculum.” It will be taught by Rhode Island University professor Bruna Boyle, AP Italian exam expert and accredited Italian AP teacher at the College Board.

The workshop is open to teachers of every order and grade. The goal is that, through the presentation of the new AP exam and the materials and resources suggested by the College Board, AP Italian courses can be increased in schools around the US thanks to the valuable contribution of teachers.

The training day is sponsored by the Italian Language Foundation which provided for the funding of the seminar by supporting the costs of the presenter.

To register for the workshop, please email Rita Iannazzi: rita.iannazzi@esteri.it by March 6, 2020 (COB).
