The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) has opened the following calls for awards in the fields of innovation and scientific research:
- Call for the 4th edition of the “Science, She Says” award, aimed at recognizing a young female scientist, who must not be an Italian citizen, for her significant contribution to the advancement of science and technology in North America. The award consists of a medal to be presented during a dedicated ceremony.
Science, She Says! - Call for the latest edition of the “Italian Bilateral Scientific Cooperation” award (launched in 2017), to be presented to a young Italian citizen abroad who has contributed to strengthening scientific cooperation in any field of science and technology (S&T), thereby bolstering Italy’s S&T relations. The award, disbursed to the researcher via the host research institution, consists of a grant of approximately €15,000 (fifteenthousand Euros) intended to cover all expenses incurred during the research stay at the designated research center.
Italian Bilateral Scientific Cooperation Award - Call for the 9th edition of the “Innovation That Speaks Italian” award (“Premio l’innovazione che parla Italiano”), to be presented to an Italian citizen currently working in the United States in recognition of the high innovative value of their technology startup. The award entails an invitation to present their work at the Conference of Scientific and Space Attachés and Agricultural Experts, to be held in Reggio Calabria in November.
