IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR APPLICANTS OF VISAS TO STUDY ABROAD
Prior to making an appointment we recommend that applicants verify that they have all required documents.

Please note that, in general, appointments for a Visa to Study Abroad (for bachelor’s/first-level academic degrees and master’s/second-level academic degrees) can be requested ONLY upon confirmation of admission to the entrance exam at an Italian University.

Appointments can be booked up to 6 months in advance but no later than 15 days before the intended departure.
Please note that the Visa Office of the Embassy of Italy in Washington, DC, will avail itself of the right to cancel all appointments booked by residents of other consular jurisdictions. Click here for the Consular Network.
You must remember to CONFIRM your appointment as early as 10 days before, but NO LATER than 3 days from the scheduled date, through the website Prenot@Mi.
In the event of a cancellation, a new appointment must be booked via the online portal and this may affect or delay your intended departure.
