On May 13th, 2017 the European Union Embassies and the EU Delegation to the United States open their doors to the public for the annual EU Embassies’ Open House: a day of family fun, food, culture and more. The event offers visitors a rare look inside the embassies and provides a unique opportunity for them to experience the cultural heritage and national traditions of the 28 member countries.<\/p>\n
The highlight of this year’s Open House at the Embassy of Italy will be a performance by the World Dance Movement<\/strong><\/a>. The WDM Company of seven dancers will perform The Change<\/em><\/strong>, a 15 minute excerpt of Vivaldi\u2019s Four Seasons.<\/p>\n Visitors will be able to enjoy other activities as well like an exhibit of Italian motorbikes, Connect to Climate corner, Space Exploration and Marangoni Fashion Design stands, children’s soccer and more. Come join us to explore Italy.<\/p>\n About World Dance Movement – The International Company<\/strong><\/p>\n World Dance Movement – The International Company – was born from the WDM International Festival a program that began in Castellana Grotte, Italy, in the beautiful region of Puglia in 2009 in partnership with the USA based company, Tezoro Productions. WDM builds connections between dance and diverse cultures that inspire and transform dancers around the world. Nine years of sharing the culture of Puglia through a complete study-vacation model. It provides dancers and their families with the opportunity to visit beautiful locations in the Region from Gargano to the islands of Tremblings, from the Tavoliere to the Murgia, from Bari to the zone of the Trulli of Alberobello, up to Salento surrounded by the Adriatic Sea and the splendid caves of Castellana.<\/p>\n Through the WDM International Festival, The WDM International Company was formed with dancers from all over the world.
