As a result of this decision, exports of fresh and short-matured (less than 400 days) pork products from Tuscany and Umbria to the United States will resume.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am very happy with the U.S. decision to lift the export ban on products from Umbria and Tuscany. I have been raising this issue since my first meetings with Secretary of State Antony Blinken and other members of the US Administration. I would like to thank him for this important result,\u201d commented Italy\u2019s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have worked on this issue together with Washington, bringing the government, embassy and territories together as a team. With today\u2019s announcement, we have now entered the implementation phase, with exports resuming on 12 July.
