{"id":2355,"date":"2023-03-31T19:02:49","date_gmt":"2023-03-31T23:02:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambwashingtondc.esteri.it\/?p=2355"},"modified":"2023-04-12T13:26:37","modified_gmt":"2023-04-12T17:26:37","slug":"italian-wonder-massimo-listris-magical-interior-images-on-display-at-the-embassy-in-washington-dc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambwashingtondc.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2023\/03\/italian-wonder-massimo-listris-magical-interior-images-on-display-at-the-embassy-in-washington-dc\/","title":{"rendered":"Italian Wonder:  Massimo Listri\u2019s magical interior images on display at the Embassy in Washington DC."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The exhibition &#8220;Massimo Listri: Italian Wonder&#8221;, organized by the Italian Cultural Institute of Washington jointly with the Embassy of Italy in Washington D.C., was opened yesterday evening in <em>Piazza Italia <\/em>in the heart of the Italian Embassy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTimeless images that bring masterpieces of Italian architecture into the 21st century\u201d is how Italian Ambassador to the United States Mariangela Zappia promoted photographer Massimo Listri&#8217;s selection of images on display in the Embassy. \u201cMassimo Listri has a unique talent in depicting art, using perspectives and giving life to the interiors of the most beautiful Italian <em>palazzi<\/em> through photos that become art in turn\u201d she highlighted.<\/p>\n<p>Listri and the exhibition&#8217;s curator, architect Renata Cristina Mazzantini, spoke at the opening.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition offers a selection of Massimo Listri&#8217;s original photographs of interiors and perspectives of palaces, museums, and other extraordinary locations in Italy. A total of sixteen images from all over Italy, from Palazzo Butera in Palermo (Sicily) to the <em>Palazzo Reale<\/em> (Royal Palace) in Venice (Veneto), that captivate viewers with their eternal beauty.<\/p>\n<p>Massimo Listri&#8217;s lens seeks the musical harmony and divine perfection of architecture, chasing the music frozen in spaces.
