The Embassy and the consular network support the promotion of Italian language and culture in the United States through the work of 7 School Offices and 5 Italian Cultural Institutes. The directors of the School Offices coordinate and monitor the activities of the Enti Gestori\/Promotori [Managing\/Promoting Bodies], non-profit organizations that receive contributions from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to organize Italian language courses in public and private schools.<\/p>\n
