The Embassy of Italy\u2019s Office of Economic, Commercial and Scientific Affairs<\/strong><\/p>\n

The office coordinates all activities pertaining to analysis, economic promotion and trade defense policy in the United States, aiming to enhance trade, investment flows and technological cooperation between the two countries.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Scientific sector<\/a> is an integral part of the Office\u2019s portfolio, with a particular focus on translational opportunities between research and industrial and commercial applications.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0 Space sector<\/a>\u00a0also falls under the remit of the Office\u2019s competences, both for its role in technology and science, but increasingly for its economic aspects.<\/p>\n

This promotion strategy is implemented through constant coordination with the\u00a0 consular network<\/a>, the\u00a0 Italian Trade Agency (ICE)<\/a>\u00a0network, the\u00a0 Bank of Italy<\/a>, the\u00a0 Italian National Tourism Board (ENIT)<\/a>, the\u00a0 Ministries of Defense<\/a>,\u00a0 Economy and Finance<\/a>,\u00a0 Enterprises and Made in Italy<\/a>,\u00a0 University and Research<\/a>,\u00a0 Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forests<\/a>,\u00a0 Infrastructure and Transport<\/a>, the Environment and Energy Security<\/a>, and\u00a0 Health<\/a>, the Department of Digital Transformation<\/a>, the\u00a0 Italian Space Agency<\/a>, Italian leaders at the\u00a0 World Bank<\/a>, the\u00a0 International Monetary Fund<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0 Inter-American Development Bank<\/a>, while maintaining a constant and constructive exchange with Italian companies in the U.S., or with those interested in entering the U.S. market, as well as with trade associations and research centers.<\/p>\n
