A career diplomat with over thirty years of experience, he has held numerous important posts in Italy and abroad.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Pavia in 1965, he speaks English, French, Spanish, and Japanese.<\/p>\n<p>He is the author of essays and publications on European and Asian affairs.<\/p>\n<p>He is married to Vivita.
