The second Edition of the Warm Up USA arrived in Washington (October 23-26, 2019)

The second edition of the 1000 Miglia Warm UP USA (23-26 October 2019) took place in the last days. Departing from the town of Middleburg in Virginia, the historic cars taking part in the race reached Washington after a journey that cut across three states (Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland), passing by places of historcal significance for the USA.

In Washington the cars passed in front of the Capitol and the monument to George Washington, reaching their final stop at Villa Firenze residence of the Italian Ambassador Armando Varricchio.

In the evening, the Ambassador, together with the CEO of 1000 Miglia, Alberto Piantoni, handed the cups to the top racers. Varricchio emphasized how the second edition of the 1000 Miglia Warm Up USA has transformed last year’s adventure into a solid tradition and recalled that “beauty, passion, precision, competitiveness and teamwork – distinctive traits of the race – are also the winning features of “Made in Italy”, and of the Italian and automotive industry in particular”.
