The Corporate Art Awards have just been launched

The Corporate Art Awards, which are prizes designed to identify, enhance and promote excellence in international collaborations between the world of business and that of art, have just been launched.

pptArt, a crowdsourcing platform of Art, in collaboration with LUISS Business School, has developed the Corporate Art Awards methodology within the course "Corporate Art" by Luca Desiata of the Master of Art at LUISS.

The awards are the natural extension of a project created by the same organizers in June 2015, with an exhibition at the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome, that saw exhibited over seventy works by Italian and international contemporary artists.

Companies can participate by submitting projects and collaborations in one or more of the following categories no later than September 15:

  • Art collections and/or corporate museums;
  • Art bonus / Public Art (public monuments restoration);
  • Corporate Art projects (involvement of artists, directly or through creative agencies, for company processes, such as marketing, events, etc.);
  • Art as a financial investment (works of art in corporate assets);
  • Collaborations with Museums and Fine Art Academies;
  • Awards and competitions for artists;
  • Art benefits for employees (museum discounts, mortgages and loans for purchasing works of art, etc.);
  • Arts based corporate training ;
  • Internal communication (screensavers, stationery, gadgets, artistic images for internal publications, etc.);
  • Furnishings (works of art to decorate offices, boardrooms and other public spaces);
  • Business services tied to the Arts;

All participants will be included in the Corporate Art Awards catalog.

The prize will consist in works of art expressly created for the winning companies.

All proposals will be evaluated by members of the Technical and Scientific Committee with extensive experience in the art-company collaborations.

The award ceremony is scheduled for the 23rd and 24th November with a gala evening at Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome.
