Visits to the White House

Visits to the White House

The White House website indicates that foreign nationals interested in visiting should contact their Embassy to request a visit.

However, the U.S. Department of State currently places restrictions on visits by foreign nationals sponsored by the respective country's embassies.

Therefore, at the time being, the Embassy is not in a position to facilitate the organization of visits.

Alternatively, it is always possible to visit the White House Visitor Center or take a Virtual Tour.

We also point out that free guided tours of other American institutions are available, including the Washington Monument, the Library of Congress or Mount Vernon (George Washington's residence).

This page will be updated if the conditions change.
